Whole-grain foods are anti-diabetic

Recently, U.S. scientists published a study showed that those who consumed large quantities of whole-grain foods are less likely to suffer from diabetes. The researchers said that those who often whole-wheat and coarse fiber foods as a staple food of the people can prevent the emergence of "metabolic syndrome", which reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
